Our Mission

Since 2001, the naani Family has strived to create a comfortable and supportive online environment where individuals could gather free hair care and styling information.  Although our flagship naani.com focuses on natural Black hair and locks, demonstrating the beauty and strength of ALL hair and ALL skin, no matter what the type, texture or color has never ceased being our primary goal.

Having suffered from skin and scalp conditions such as eczyma, seborrhea and dandruff, our founder realized that far too often we complicate things and that the very solutions we seek occur naturally.  Her interest in pure essentials, organic herbs, butters and oils led to the development of personal recipes and products designed to address a wide variety of her own hair and skin issues.  

Now problem free, our Founderserves as a testament to holistic healing.  Out of her personal need for better products and with the sad, but powerful inspiration that resulted from her mother's passing in August 2002, our Founder set out to live life fully, quit the corporate world and pursue a goal to teach others the power of nature's medicine.  And thus, out of the fire naani's naturals salon quality line was born.

By the year 2006, our unique bath and body line blossomed into over 200 organic, vegan and cruelty free products.  Most all our products are hand-crafted and naturally derived.  Today, we continue to develop formulations with individual needs in mind.  What this means is that when you purchase a product from naani, you're getting the same quality and care that we extend to ourselves.  No corners are cut, quality is never spared because after all, we use our products too and we, like you, deserve the very best.

We're still growing and like a child, there have been some hiccups along the way.  We thank each and everyone of our customers for the patience, love and support they've shown us throughout the years.  It is through family, friends, countless heart-felt testimonials and the spirit of loved ones now gone that our strength resides.  We are confident that once you try our products, you will feel our passion, our love and our vision...and you'll look damn good too.
