I saw this story from Seattle.  Yeah I know, I'm a wee-bit late.

To summarize, a biracial 8 year old elementary school honors student had an ORS product in her hair that was particularly fragrant.  The smell of the product was obviously so annoying that the white teacher abruptly removed the little girl, who just happens to be her only black student, from the classroom.

Ok so I have problems with letting go. I just realized this about myself. Letting go when it comes to men not all men but the ones I really care for even when they do crazy stuff to me my stupid behind overlooks it or continues to deal with them. What is wrong with me?

President Obama's inauguration marked a proud day for many Americans. I, like most of the country if not the world, set captivated as the events of the day unfolded. Call me catty but in addition to the majesty, there were moments where I was prompted to grab my cell, dial my best friend and gossip. "Why is Jill Biden wearing bare-kneed boots?" I said. "My sister said the same thing. I don't have a problem with the boots, it's cold.  Her dress is too short to be wearing with those boots though," my friend replied.
